OCR reads the image
Optical character recognition turns visible letters and numbers into editable source text.
TranslatePhoto.org is an image translation tool and learning library. It follows one clear rule: keep the extracted source text visible so people can check the translation.

The translation step changes the source text into the language selected by the user.
The source and translation stay side by side so names, numbers, and missing lines are easier to spot.
To use the workflow described here, return to the online photo translation service and keep the OCR text beside the translation while you review it.
OCR errors and translation errors are different. A model may write a smooth sentence from a number that OCR read incorrectly. The image translation methodology explains each stage and its limits.
Guides use the TranslatePhoto.org Editorial Team byline. We do not invent employee stories, credentials, tests, or reviews. Each page must state its method, useful limits, and the point where human help is safer.
A correction should identify the page, the text that is wrong, and a reliable source when one exists. We update the affected page instead of publishing a second page that competes with it.
